Description
The European training network "Solidarity in Diversity" (SOLiDi) is organising an education and research programme aimed at cultivating solidarity across cultural boundaries, taking specific places and practices as a starting point.
The SOLiDi network consists of scholars from the disciplines of sociology, social geography and pedagogical science, plus a wide range of non-academic partners active in many different sectors. The network will train 15 PhD students in relevant theories, research methods, policy development and organisational change.
The goal is to elaborate a new vision on solidary that does justice to super-diverse societies and to better equip professionals and organisations with adequate and innovative tools to cultivate solidarity in diverse societies.
