Scholarship awarded for online collaboration projects with international universities
15 January 2024
Neha Miglani and Caroline Suransky both receive Virtual International Collaboration (VIS) grants for collaborative projects in 2024.
Projects
Neha Miglani's project deals with technological developments and education policy issues in the Netherlands and India, in collaboration with the Tata Institute for Social Sciences in India. Caroline Suransky receives the grant for a project focusing on decolonisation and higher education in an international comparative perspective, in cooperation with Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Both cases involve a grant of 15 thousand euros.
The projects will take place in the academic year 2024-2025. They will be (partly) integrated into the University of Humanistic Studies' teaching programme.
VIS grant
The VIS scholarship programme of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science is designed to realise initiatives in which students can gain international learning experiences online ('internationalisation at home').
