Over the last ten years Femmianne Bredewold conducted research on active citizenship and welfare state reform, with a special focus on what this means for people with mental and psychiatric disabilities. She published on social inclusion, social network strategies, social support in neighboorhoods and social encounters between people with and without disabilities.
