National Student Survey 2024: high ratings
This year, students at the University of Humanistics are once again satisfied with their studies, according to the results of the National Student Survey 2024. The traditionally high appreciation even increased compared to last year.
The National Student Survey (NSE) is an annual large-scale survey of students' experiences of the quality of programmes at colleges and universities. 38 per cent of students at the University of Humanistics participated, compared to a national average of 30 per cent.
Appreciation for UvH programmes still increasing
The upward trend in appreciation for UvH's programmes over the years continues this year as well. Students are particularly pleased with the expertise and commitment of lecturers and appreciate the study guidance and atmosphere on the study programme. Students are also more satisfied with the study load than before: almost 63% of respondents find the study load just right, compared to 50% last year. Satisfaction with the level of the programme has also risen above the national average.
Students happy with their choice
In 2024, students give their study programme an overall rating of 4.15 compared to the national average of 3.91 (on a scale of 1 to 5). The content of the programme also scores higher than the national average of 3.95 at 4.05. The atmosphere even gets a 4.53 against the national average of 4.05. And respondents gave a 4.27 when asked if they would choose the programme again (benchmark 3.97).
