Joke van Saane reappointed as rector and chair of the UvH Executive Board

The Supervisory Board of the University of Humanistic Studies has reappointed Prof Joke van Saane as rector and chair of the Executive Board of the University of Humanistic Studiess with effect from 1 July 2023.


Joke van Saane has been at the University of Humanistic Studies as rector and chair of the Executive Board since 1 July 2019. With this reappointment, she starts her second four-year term.


Elmer Sterken, chairman of the Supervisory Board on Joke's reappointment: "As the Supervisory Board, we are delighted with the reappointment of Joke van Saane as rector and chairman of the UvH Executive Board. Under her leadership, UvH has taken important steps for the future in recent years. We look forward to the further development of UvH under her leadership."
