Biography

Johanneke graduated at the University for Humanistic Studies in 2022, after which she started a job as junior researcher in two research projects at the UHS. One of these research projects focused on needs for meaning-making within primary care, specifically within the sector of general practitioners and social work. More information on this project can be found on the website of the Kenniswerkplaats Zorg voor Zingeving (in Dutch). The second research project focused on meaning making and living experiences within senior co-housing projects.
The results of these research projects culminated in a PhD research project that focuses on older adults’ experience and establishment of a sense of home during their relocation to a new home. She will focus on this research project in the coming years.
