Biography

Currently also a NWO Rubicon Postdoctoral Researcher on the two-year project »Turning the Priceless into Price« at the Institute for Social Research in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, funded by the Dutch Research Council. Editor at Krisis: Journal for Contemporary Philosophy. From 2015 to 2020: PhD in Social Philosophy at the Amsterdam School for Cultural Analysis at the University of Amsterdam. From 2020 to 2023: Lecturer in Liberal Arts and Sciences at Utrecht University. 



Research

Works on eco-Marxism and critical theory. Currently working on how value is constituted at the intersection of economy and ecology, staging an encounter between eco-Marxism and ecological economics. Recently published the monograph Cybernetic Capitalism: A Critical Theory of the Incommunicable (Fordham University Press, 2025).
