Dr. Renske Kruizinga

Renske Kruizinga has a background in Religious Studies (MA - VU Amsterdam) and a PhD in General Medicine, focusing on spiritual care for cancer patients, obtained at UvA/AmsterdamUMC and Radboud University Nijmegen. She worked at Tilburg University to set up a interuniversity research center form chaplaincy studies. Since 2020 she is working as researcher and lecturer at the University of Humanistic Studies at the department of Humanist Chaplaincy Studies. Her research focuses on spiritual care at the end of life, meaning making and the development of chaplaincy care.
