Introduction
Gender equality, diversity and inclusion are identified as target areas for policy at the University of Humanistic Studies, with the aim of creating an inclusive, diverse and safe learning and working environment where everyone feels at home and where a diversity of perspectives is involved and considered. This is how we enhance the quality of education and research.
Promoting diversity and inclusion is both a goal and a process. The following aspects are decisive for our university:
- The University of Humanistic Studies consciously and actively promotes a stimulating educational and research
environment where everyone can feel at home equally; - Policy, strategy, education plan and incentive schemes are set up in such a way that everyone is given equal opportunities.
On the underlying pages you can read more about how the University of Humanistic Studies fulfils these aspects and thus also meets the requirements set by the EU. From 1 January 2022 onwards, all institutions wishing to qualify for funding from the European Union's Horizon Europe Research Programme must have a published Gender Equality Plan.
