Beschrijving
Om de overgang van revalidatiekliniek naar huis te verkleinen zijn Family Group Decision Making (FGDM) meetings aangeboden aan revalidanten. Dit zijn extra bijeenkomsten begeleid door de maatschappelijk werker, waarbij het sociaal netwerk (familie, vrienden etc.) eerder betrokken wordt bij de revalidatie.
De animo hiervoor was laag. Binnen het onderzoek is gekeken wat de mogelijke redenen hiervoor zijn door interviews af te nemen met patiënten en hun naasten. Perspectieven zijn geïnventariseerd onder andere wat betreft de behoefte aan steun van het sociale netwerk en de mate van ervaren belasting door de naaste binnen de diverse fases van revalidatiebehandeling.
