Dr. Wouter Sanderse

Na eerst Bedrijfscommunicatie en Filosofie te hebben gestudeerd, ben ik in 2012 gepromoveerd op de relevantie van de Aristotelische ethiek voor morele vorming in het onderwijs. Daarna heb ik acht jaar gewerkt als lector Beroepsethiek van de leraar bij Fontys Hogescholen. Deze functie combineerde ik met onderwijs- en onderzoeksaanstellingen bij verschillende universiteiten, o.a. bij het Jubilee for Character and Virtues in Birmingham (Engeland). Vanaf september 2018 werk ik als universitair docent Educatie bij de UvH, waar ik me bezig houdt met filosofische vragen rond onderwijs en opvoeding, en met name op het gebied van (karakter)vorming van kinderen en jongeren en ethiek van professionals.

Interessegebieden: professionele ethiek (van leraren), deugdethiek, morele ontwikkeling en vorming, Socratische dialoog.

Tussen september 2021 en april 2023 leidde ik het ontwikkel- en onderzoeksproject 'Voorbeeldige Bildung in het vmbo'. Meer informatie is hier te vinden.
