The four universities PThU, TUA, TUU and UvH are working together to establish a Digital Competence Centre. This joint initiative will support researchers in all aspects of responsible and future-proof research data management, including data collection, data storage, research integrity, privacy, information security and data management.
The NLU Research Market is an opportunity not only to celebrate this unique collaboration but also to showcase the exciting research taking place across the NLU universities. The afternoon will feature:
- inspiring poster presentations and short research pitches
- an introduction to the new Digital Competence Centre and the support it offers
- plenty of opportunities to meet colleagues, exchange ideas and network during an informal reception
Call for Posters & Pitches
Are you working on a research project that you would like to share with colleagues? Share your research. Inspire others! We warmly invite both students and researchers to present their work and contribute to an inspiring Research Market.
Poster presentation (with other researchers at the same time)
For a poster presentation, you will present your research on a poster and have the opportunity to discuss your work with other participants during the poster session. Your submitted abstract should provide the basis for your poster presentation. You may also reuse a previous presentation, provided it is no more than three years old. If you work abroad, you are also very welcome to submit a poster presentation. We can print the poster and hang it up. We will attach a notepad where colleagues can ask questions that you can answer later.
Oral research pitch (plenary)
Use your pitch to communicate the essence of your research in a clear and accessible way. Focus on your research question, approach, key findings or research progress, and the relevance of your work. You may also reuse a previous presentation, provided it is no more than three years old. The oral research pitch is limited to 10 minutes.
Instructions
Abstracts must be written in English or Dutch. The deadline for submitting your abstract is Friday, 23 October. On Friday, 30 October, you will be notified whether your abstract has been accepted. If accepted, you will also receive further practical information and guidelines. This includes specific instructions for participants presenting a poster and for students and colleagues based abroad who wish to give their research pitch live online or submit a pre-recorded presentation.
