Partner for science and society
Our academical staff members are leaders in various research themes and are open to collaboration in order to strengthen the impact on science and society.
Both nationally and internationally, our researchers collaborate with knowledge partners and social partners, such as universities, academic hospitals, universities of applied sciences, government organisations, healthcare institutions, professional organisations and knowledge institutes.
The UvH is also active nationally and internationally in research networks, knowledge platforms and networks that share knowledge and stimulate connections with practice. We are proud of our collaboration with the organisations where our endowed chairs are located.
The University of Humanistic Studies is associate member of the national network University of the Netherlands. Through this network, we participate in the national programme Recognition and Rewards, which focuses on broader recognition of academic qualities in addition to research, such as education, leadership and social impact. In addition, the UvH chairs the consultation body for philosophical universities (Overleg van Levensbeschouwelijke Universiteiten, NLU) in the Netherlands.
The UvH is also affiliated with various international academic networks, including the European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA) and the Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment (CoARA). CoARA is an international partnership committed to reforming research assessment, with a focus on quality, collaboration and open science.
