Willeke Los studied history in Groningen. She worked as an instructor in historical pedagogy at SOMA (Stichtse opleiding middelbare akten) and as a research assistant at the (former) Department of Pedagogy at Utrecht University. From 1998 to 2004, she held various management and policy positions at Amsterdam Thuiszorg. She has been employed by the UvH since September 2004. Her area of focus is the history of upbringing and education in the 18th century.
