Annemiek Schilpzand completed her studies in International Economics and European Law at Radboud University. After graduating, she began working as a junior researcher and instructor in the Department of Economics and Business Economics at Radboud University. In her doctoral research, she applies socioeconomic theory to understand the complex mechanisms of value creation in various environments. By combining macro- and micro-level datasets through quantitative analyses, she seeks to gain insights using various empirical techniques.
Central to her research are the methodologies in the social sciences designed to explore ethical and philosophical questions, and she is interested in the transformation of values following significant events, particularly natural disasters.
