On the 25th of November there is a performance lecture by MAR PhD candidate Zoya Shojaee Sardashti. Every Four Years layers personal narrative, archival media, multilingual text, performance for camera, and embodied movement.

In Every Four Years, Zoya examines how politicized images shape practices of witnessing and how cultures of fear mobilize these images to organize gesture, relation, and memory.
