The first edition of the Good Grief festival is organised by Stichting De Kerkvernieuwers in collaboration with Meaningful Artistic Research, on Saturday October 31st. A festival for reflecting, exploring, experimenting, and connecting about grief and loss, two days before the Christian celebration of All Soul’s Day.

Two unique locations in downtown Utrecht, the St. Gertrude’s Cathedral and the Nicolaï Church, will serve as the backdrop for a full-day cultural programme filled with hope, guidance, and comfort.

The Nicolaïkerk is dedicated to art and research. HKU alumni will showcase the many forms that grief and mourning can take. Be amazed by compelling installations and performances, or feel free join one of the ‘Sterftalks’. Keep an eye on our newsletter and website for the programme.
