Humanism in the 21st century
Within this theme, research focuses on how we as a society can shape a humane, pluralistic and sustainable world. From a humanistic perspective, we study contemporary social practices and critically reconstruct the history of humanistic traditions in art, religion and philosophy.
Current issues are also addressed, such as the role of humans among other living beings, anthropocentrism, the impact of technological developments (such as AI), and major societal challenges such as sustainability and climate change.
