Case Studies Project: Chaplaincy in the Armed Forces
- Period: 2016-2021
- Status: completed
In this project, chaplains working for the Ministry of Defence describe cases from their practice according to a set format. These are then evaluated by the research community, consisting of the participating chaplains and two researchers. The aim is to provide insight into the work of chaplains at the Ministry of Defence: what do they do, why and to what end?
This research is part of the Case Studies Project (CSP) in Chaplaincy Care. The aim is to write down and evaluate case studies that can help identify good practices in spiritual care. The entire project consists of cases in six different research communities. In addition to the Ministry of Defence, these are Justice, General Hospitals, Mental Health Institutions, Elderly Care and Mixed.
