Tech Talk Workshop ‘Rethinking Relational Well-Being in Human-Technology Encounters’

We’re excited to announce we will host an international workshop on technology and well-being with Andrew McStay and Vian Bakir on Friday 6 March. The workshop is an extension of the series Tech-Talks @ UvH and funded by the UHS Incentive Scheme for Internationalization of Research.

Everyone is warmly invited to attend the keynotes and the Q&A. Please do register for the keynotes with the sign-up button via the Dutch-language website. For post-lunch workshops spots are limited. About Keynotes:

Andrew McStay is a Professor of Technology & Society at Bangor University, where he directs the Emotional AI Lab, an international research centre examining the social, ethical, and policy implications of artificial intelligence that interprets emotion and emulates empathy.

Vian Bakir is a Professor of Journalism and Political Communications at Bangor University. With a broad focus on political communication, profiling and persuasion she will be discussing disinformation, misinformation, propaganda through social media and AI.
