On Thursday afternoon, 9 October, there will be a meeting at the UvH organised by the Meaningful Artistic Research partnership, entitled Becoming Reoriented. We will be working on (re)orientation, based on the ideas of Sara Ahmed.
How do we orient ourselves in relation to each other and the world around us, and what does that require? What happens when there is a hiccup in this orientation? What does disorientation mean in our work and our practice, how can we continue to create new directions from uncertainty and mistakes? We will explore this during work sessions and performances by UvH and HKU alumni.
The working language is English.
The University of Humanistic Studies and the Utrecht School of the Arts are joining forces in the field of art and science. Their collaboration is called Meaningful Artistic Research (MAR): meaningful artistic research as a connecting factor.
